“Every man has two fathers – his own and Khrimyan”

On December 20, 2007 the exhibition hall of the NAA was crowded. The exhibition of personal stuff and archival documents of Mkrtich A Khrimyan Catholicos of All the Armenian aroused huge interest. “Every man has two fathers – his own and Khrimyan” once told Vazgen A. Catholicos about Khrimyan Hayrik. Documents of different contents – Catholicos’s orders, notes, letters, conferences, photographs reflecting the life of Khrimyan Hayrik and his activity in church are silent witnesses of the endless devotion of Hayrik to his nation and church. more>>

“Garzou in Armenia”

On December 3, 2007, the exhibition hall of the National Archives of Armenia was full of people. There were many people present on the opening ceremony of exhibition of archival documents and materials named “Garzou in Armenia” for the 100th anniversary of the French-Armenian famous artist Garzou, (Garnik Zulumyan) , among them there was H. Poghosyan, minister of Culture, other people of art, journalists, archivists and guests. “Garzou was very much devoted to his motherland…” were the opening words of NAA director A. Virabyan. more>>

“In the Battlefield of Two Continents”

On October 8, 2007, the opening of exhibition entitled “In the Battlefield of Two Continents” took place in the exhibition hall of NA of Armenia. The exhibition organized within the framed of the year of Armenia in France was for the Eastern legion of the French army named Armenian legion.
